Tell us about yourself and your modeling background.

My name is Kendall Tiffany Hall and I’m 20 years old. All my life I have had a passion for art in all forms. I love the stage, I love the camera, I love the microphone. I’ve worked hard enough to truly be able to say I can do it all and consider myself a triple threat. I started modeling about 2 years ago in the summer. Since then I’ve worked nonstop. I got my start on Instagram persistently direct messaging photographers and companies asking if they needed models, seeing if they would just give me a chance.

What excites you about modeling?

Nothing excites me more than bringing an artistic vision to life. I love getting a concept and seeing what I can do to put my own spin on it and bring the vision of the photographer to life. It’s a great feeling seeing it all come together.

What are some harsh realities of modeling that people don’t think about?

First things first, modeling isn’t easy and rejection is a huge part of the process. People will tell you no, and that’s okay. You need to believe in your ability to overcome any obstacle. Your ability to achieve is only as large as your faith in yourself. Modeling is also about a lot more than being a pretty face. Posing technique is everything. It takes practice to be a great model. Looking natural doesn’t come naturally, it’s worked on. You should always be trying to improve your craft. I personally practice posing at least once a week.

What are your future plans as a model?

I plan to go all the way. I will be the next Naomi Campbell or Tyra Banks.

How do you manage to keep yourself inspired in modeling?

Trusting in the process is key. I always remind myself of where I was and how far I’ve come. A setback is just an opportunity to prove you truly deserve what you want. Never compare your journey to someone else’s. We are all on a different timeline in life; trust in yours. The only person you’re in competition with is yourself; topping what you did last.
